Developers: DRM Will Never Really Work

There seems to be an elephant in the room in the world of game development. It's a rather ugly creature, painted in shades of moral gray and black; it bellows about piracy and used games whilst boorishly lamenting lost sales and the core gamer's lack of respect for the developer. I am speaking, of course, about always-on DRM. I feel that it's high time this beast was silenced and put out to pasture- and I'm far from the only one.
