v4.18 has a few new niceties, new icons, templates, colored lines, alarms.
But functionality of the Drawings doesnt work at all for my PALM TX OS v5.49

Excellent program even on simple inspection. A Must Buy for GTD folks (more on this later). It combines the power of 2 standard palm apps in 1 (Memo & Notepad). It even syncs with Memo for easy editing on the desktop. Easy sorting in a variety of ways. A review harping about "what isn't there" as opposed to "what is" isn't fair and given most issues are now addressed it's now a dated blemish on the review history. The Killer Application for GTDers is to use the drawing section as a "notepad" entry and link to ShadowPlan or etc. for a quick "collection bucket" as a virtual post-it for your "inbox" needs. Worth the price of admission alone! Customer Service was excellent regarding any issue I had. Great "Memo"-"Pad" Enhancement/Replacement!

This is a nicely designed app but the price is very high, considering it the pix are LOW RES!!!!! Should have put more work in to it.

I recently trialed this application. Here was my requirements list:
1 - make freehand notes and diagrams ( some simple drawing tools
would be helpful: shapes and colors )
2 - a memo area attached to the drawing. This memo area should
recognize email and web links and allow me to launch those apps via a tap
3 - i'd like to have these notes alarmable
4 - i'd like to send these notes via email ( jpeg or other popular format ) via a
tap
5 - high res and color would be nice
6 - categorization/organization would be nice
I found that the first 3 reqmts are covered off pretty well with the exception of the information in the memo pad not being recognized as web or email.
The 4th requirement was not met. This application allows you to send email of the text/drawing together but in a format that is only understood by another MemoPlus on the other end. I would prefer that it sent the text with a JPG attachment which would allow me to send to anyone with an email client and a browser.
The 5th requirement wasn't met fully due to the low res drawing.
My search continues.

Nice enhanced memopad, but drawings are still in low res, although MemoPLUS claims to support high res. For me that's a reason NOT to buy it.

This is an app that I've had from its earliest versions. Just when you think they've thought of everything that could be done with a memo, they come up with another template that saves time and helps you to organize many different types of info. I even keep the directions to our house, combined with a sketch, so that I can beam it to people (or print it out) who want both written directions and a map. Similarly, I keep directions to other places we go to only occasionally, and even short-cuts to get around traffic jams in areas we pass through only a few times a year. I can't begin to estimate how much time thoses memos have saved us. Tech support is fast and responsive.

Rather than going to the board, fumbling with a gradebook, or sorting notecards, you can quickly look at your entire class on one small screen, tap on any student, and a...
