CryptoPad features:
CryptoPad is a MemoPad replacement that uses the Blowfish encryption algorithm to allow for encryption of arbitrary length data with a password of up to 448 bits.
- Supports find operation
- Uses the built-in MemoPad database to store memos that are not encrypted
- Uses its own database to store encrypted memos for protection
- Supports beam operation
- Adds the OS3.5 and 4.00 features : command bar, security and COLOR function
CryptoPad includes also specific functions :

Global Password:
Users have the ability to define a global password available
for encryption and decryption of memos in a given session.
- Hide/Show lines:
It is now possible to hide or show lines in the edit view at will.
- Use lookup field:
It is possible to activate a lookup field to search for a memo in entering a few letters as the built-in Address application
- Find support:
CryptoPad supports the find operation. Encrypted memos are searched for when the global password has been set in a given session.
- Beam support:
Beaming of single memos or entire category is supported. For security
reasons, encrypted memos are not eligible for beaming. Note that beaming
a category will skip the encrypted records and leave them untouched.
- Multiple Fonts and COLORS:
It is possible to outline particularly important memos with a different
font and color for each lines. Besides, each memo can have its own font and color for edition.
- Move record on top:
You have the choice to automatically make the last consulted record moved on top.
Thus, the more consulted memos are always at the top of the list.
- Rotate between:
Using the hard key, you can cycle through the categories. Now, you can choose either
to go also in the "Unfiled" either to avoid the category "All".
- Important memo:
You can check one memo as Important (in the Details form) and access it directly in holding the hard key for a few seconds.
CryptoPad desktop
A CryptoPad desktop will be soon available and will allow you to read your crypted memo directly on PC !
French, English, Spanish, Deutsch, Italian and Turkish versions soon available (compatible with PalmOS 3.1 for Visor users).

Request for developers
The development of CryptoPad has
lately been quite lacking behind
because we cannot dedicate enough
time and resources to this task.
That''s why I would like to formaly send
this request, so that CryptoPad can still
be enhanced and be a popular application.
I''m ready to release the source code
of CryptoPad as an *open source* project,
under the GPL. I think this will create
the momentum CryptoPad needs to attract
developers.
Besides, I would like to set up a web site
to host this project. This web site could
also be developed as an open source project,
using popular tools (PHP, mySQL, etc.). A
web site could have a forum for developers
and things like that. It is well possible
to use already existing infrastructures
for a start (eg. SourceForge).
With this infrastructure, we could publish
regular updates and accept contributions
and discuss technical matters...

conditions under which CryptoPad could be
released as an open-source project, or if
you would like to discuss the license; If
you are a developer or web designer and
you would like to help set up a project
