Excellent software, I use my Treo as a modem for my notebook (so it's pretty slow) and so I have to give up using IsiloX to retrieve news websites (but I still stay using for other "reference" sites).
The main difference for IsiloX and Sunrise is that for Sunrise you can retrieve multiple webpages at the same time (thus saving time), but for Isilo, you have to do it one by one (if one struck then it's going to be a long wait).
And Sunrise shows the addresses of the webpages (one by one) currently retrieving, so you can choose to filter them or change some other setting, this is especially important when the webpage has some non-sense javascript, Isilo would just stop otherwise.
Finally Sunrise caches the websites you're downloading (IsiloX can't...), so it saves a lot of time, you just keep "updating" a magazine website and the program would tell if there's anything new. IsiloX would just download the whole site as a new copy, you will then have to open it to see if there's anything new... quite a hassle if you have a long list of news sites to track.
In most situation (especially on a slow modem), I found Sunrise about 5 or 6 times faster than IsiloX.
The only downside is that there's no Plucker Viewer for Windows so I can only read these documents on my Palm. And Plucker doesn't offer a very good "Select All", "Copy All" or "Find in Document" function.
Having said that, Sunrise + Plucker is still the best way to download daily newspaper or magazine websites to my Treo/Palm. I would definitely recommend it everyone... set up process may be a bit funny for beginners, but you won't regret the effort to "tune" the websites.
Extremely well-done L.M. Fridael, this program is one of the two programs that I found making my Treo ten times worth the original price. (The other one is Keylink.)

Just what I needed to play with Mozilla. However, I cannot get it to open automatically in minimized mode. No matter what I put in the
Startup file, it always opens full screen.

I tried Plucker, but it did not present cookies. I tried sitescooper but it was written for geeks.
Someone recommended JPluck and I found that Sunrise had superceded JPluck so I gave it a go. Sunrise is superb. It does a great job of pulling just about anything off the web, and quite efficiently. I download about 5 Mb from 20 different sources (both HTML and RSS) every morning and it takes only a couple of minutes to grab, convert and transfer in Plucker format. Worth every penny! I'm now going to donate to the author it's that good.

This is easily the best application for a Palm in many years. It does what AvantGo always promised to do, and never delivered: take any web page and put on your Palm to read offline. ANY webpage. Even better, any RSS feed. the Scheduling makes it possible to have it update regularly: take your local newspaper to work with you, and augment with your favorite blogs, and more. Add in EZSync, and you can have the whole process automated: have your Palm update every morning, and be ready for you to grab and go for the ultimate "Palmcasting" experience!
