Updated Description:
V2.11 New Features:
This is major upgrade and many new features
introduced from other platform version(BREW,Symbian,WM5,etc.).
- Support "Side menu" and configurable "Macro"
You can do various operations using right/left popup menu(Side menu).
The operations(Macro) such as "Close(Alt+F4)" are configurable.
- Support "File Transfer"
Ultr@VNC style File Transfer protocol is now supported.
You can upload/download file between Palm external memory card
and remote PC.
- Support sound streaming
ESD(Enlightened Sound Daemon) with Vorbis sound compression
extension is now available.
You can hear the sound played back on remote PC from your Palm!
(Notice)Sound stream is delivered by another server separated from
VNC server. If you want to use sound stream, you need to setup
sound streaming server. More detail, see manual.
- Support new lossy codec for motion picture(ZYWRLE)
New our lossy codec suit for motion picture is now available.
Though image is fuzzy partially, network traffic reduced to
50%(Hi)/15%(Mid) traffice of ZRLE when we play back motion picture.
(Notice)Almost VNC server doesn't support ZYWRLE because it was
developed by us. If you want to use ZYWRLE, you need to setup
ZYWRLE available VNC server. More detail, see manual.
V0.95 New Features:
- Support 16 bit color mode
16bit color (65,536 colors) mode can be used in VNC communication.
PC screen drawing color is nearly real display color!
(Although the amount of traffic increases twice...
it is usefull in hi-bandwidth like a Wi-Fi.)
(Notice)If you use rdp2vnc, upgrade your rdp2vnc.
Old rdp2vnc ussupports 16bit color mode.
- Support "Fuzzy" drawing mode
In this mode, the amount of traffic decreases half although
small font character crushes and disappears like scaling.
(it is usefull in low-bandwidth like a GRPS.)
- Add Network indicator
You can see comunication status on the screen.
- Add advanced setting of "Disable SSS(VNC compatible)"
In this mode, you can't use scaling and fuzzy drawing, you can use all kind of VNC server. This is useful in old VNC server.
- Available to map each Hard button independently of each other rather than map pair of key.
- Reorganize the "Details" and "Advanced" forms to "Details", "Display", "Keys" forms.
Please refer manual about above 3 new forms.
- Fixed the problem of incorrect screen size in PalmOS 5.4 device like a Treo 650. Also fixed the problem of 5-way navi. in PalmOS 5.4 device

You can use entire display for PC display!
- The 16-bit color mode screen is used in Palm which supports it.
The problem to which palettes in DIA and status bar are corrupted was solved.
(Notice)Although screen mode became 16-bit color, this does not mean that
16-bit color is used by the VNC protocol. PC screen drawing is still 256 color.

Support Tapwave Action button(Zodiac)

Well, it worked for one day, then it told me the trial period had ended.
Too bad; I thought it had potential, but I never got enough time with it to justify paying such a high price for a Palm app...

Just incredible. I've tryed other VNC clients for Palm OS and they all were too slow for using them with a Bluetooth connection. Working with Micro VNC has been much more confortable that I ever thought!
In my case I use a Tapwave Zodiac and it connects with my PC via Bluetooth, using a software (Softick PPP) to allow TCP/IP connections throught the virtual COM3 which I've created. Despite of the low speed of this kind of connection, and althought it freezes a little from time to time, I just can do everything from my Zodiac.
I'll continue testing it and if it continues so well, I'll think about purchasing it.
Salutes.

This is the best VNC client I've found so far!
It would be helpfult to have more information about the SSH tunnelling as well as a slightly easier way to handle the Control/Fn keys.
Still, its ability to handling scaling makes it very convenient to use.
Plus it handles rotation even when there is no built-in OS-support - that makes it great on my NX80V!
