This program came on my PALM T|X in a stripped-down version. Nevertheless, the program offered enough functionality to pursuade me to make the upgrade purchase. So much Palm software is so disappointing. This is NOT the case here. This program actually far exceeded my expectations. I simply drag mp3s and WMAs onto my SD card and pop them into the Palm and the program finds them and lets me play them from any folder (album) I choose. I do not even have to create a play list. No sync even required, just drag them to your memory card. Since the T|X is WiFi capable, internet radio is amazing through this program. The quality from the radio matches my the mp3 player. In short, if I had gotten the Palm T|X and this program, I would not have even purchased my iPod - there would be no need for it. Also note that the program runs in the background while you do other things on your Palm. Finally, do not forget the Skins. They are smashing! I put a WinAmp look-a-like on mine and it is wonderful. In short, this is a top-quality program which will not, cannot, disappoint you.

I love this little player! Easy to use, has many features (such as equalizer) that my other player that came on my Palm does not. I can also listen to internet radio stations including spoken word audio programs. I would recommend it highly.

If you are listening to MP3s using any other software then you are missing out on a great package. Pocket Tunes is the best MP3 player for the Palm PDA end of story. I have been using the application for many years and never regret buying it. The developers keep enhacing this already great product and provide excellent support. Give it a go ! You have nothing to loose.

I am giving only 5 stars because there is no technical way to give more. Pocket Tunes is a little marvel. Absolutely excellent! It works perfectly with Rhapsody To Go. I can download stuff as easily as to my Dell DJ. Sound quality is perfect, operation is easy. However, a warning. Palm is not HiFi audio device. The quality of its audio amplifier is as is. Therefore, if you use headphones that have elevated high range (around and over 18KHz) you will hear a "hiss". This is not Pocket Tune's fault, you will hear this hiss even if the application is shutdown. This hiss is no problem when you listen "ooompppaaa" music, but is a problem when you listen classical music (what I do). Remedy: use high quality headphones. There is no hiss with Bose TriPort, Bose noise cancelling headphones, Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones, Sennheiser 100, but there are problems with "earbuds" and such (with notable exception of Shure that is in $200+ range)
